Prepare and preheat the grill. Brush fish thoroughly on both sides with 1 teaspoon olive oil, and then sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper evenly over both sides.

Grill fish over medium heat. Allow the first side to sear for about 3-4 minutes, until lightly golden brown grill marks form.

Flip fish to second side and continue grilling until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily when tested with a fork, about another 4-8 minutes, depending on thickness.
